The most important activity of the summer was the summer school in Valencia. The event was hosted by Universidad Politècnica de Valencia in between 25th July and 4th August. Ninety students got together - ten students, nine countries – to share and participate in this outstanding intercultural experience.
Students have been preparing already for a year to come to Valencia by attending energy courses at their universities where they had to work on a sustainable project improving their university buildings energy performances. Best projects were selected to attend Valencia summer school.

The summer school turned out to be a real success story. In the first 2 days students presented their projects. Then, they were divided into groups in a way that in each group there was one student per university. In the groups they had to work together on their projects that have completely transformed in these two weeks due to the multicultural approach, vivid discussions and students enthusiasm. The results were beyond any expectation.
Students became very active on Facebook and motivated to share informations and documents there and on the website. Now all materials/presentations are uploaded and a short video under:

At the end of the two weeks participants all agreed that this was just the starting point of a new sharing process, and definitely not the end.

Before going to the summer school universities were busy with the preparations and apart from that only few other activities happened.
In HCU, in between July 4 and 12, students of the USE Eff training course presented their work to the lectures and the other students. The final report of the investigation of both HCU university buildings were sent to IWU for reviewing.
After the summer school due to the holiday only few activities have started. IHA started a new semester with 45 students and lectures based on the USE Efficiency program.
